Alberto D'Avenia is managing director, head of U.S. Offshore at Voya Investment Management. He joined the firm following Allianz Global Investors and Voya Investment Management having entered into a long-term strategic partnership, where he was a managing director and head of U.S. NRB and LatAm retail. Prior to that at Allianz, Alberto was head of business development southern Europe and country head for Italy. Alberto is an experienced investment management professional with over 20 years of investment experience within the asset management industry in different Mediterranean countries and within the Italian market. Prior to that, he spent 13 years with BNP Paribas AM, where he assumed increasing business development responsibilities in Italy and the southern European market. Previously, he worked with BNP Paribas insurance company developing the firm’s relationship with a key banking client where he also developed an in-house recruitment program for captive agents of a major financial advisors network. Alberto earned a BS in economics from Bocconi University, Milan.
