Allianz Income and Growth

Allianz Income and Growth

A solution to counter market volatility and help meet investors' long-term financial needs

3 asset classes, one goal: Income & Growth

The fund takes a multi-asset approach to deliver consistent income and capital growth, with lower volatility, through investments in U.S. large-cap equities (with a covered call overlay), U.S. convertible securities and U.S. high-yield bonds. Through investing in three primary asset classes, the fund has exposure to multiple opportunities for income plus growth:

  • High-quality, large-cap stocks offer capital appreciation potential and dividend income.

  • Convertible securities offer current income, investment-grade exposure, and unlimited upside potential with less downside risk than stocks.

  • High-yield bonds offer high income and historically have exhibited much less volatility than stocks.

  • Covered calls can provide additional income from option premiums.

All three asset classes – equities, convertibles and high-yield bonds – offer the opportunity to generate and realize capital appreciation.

Investing involves risk. The value of an investment and the income from it can go down as well as up, and when you redeem it, you may not receive the amount you originally invested. Investing in fixed income securities can expose you to a variety of risks, including credit risk, interest rate risk and liquidity risk. Changes in the economic environment and market conditions may affect these risks and have a negative effect on the value of the investment. In periods of rising nominal rates, the value of fixed income securities (including positions in such securities with short-term maturities) generally tends to decline. Conversely, in periods of declining nominal rates, the value of fixed-income securities generally tends to rise. The liquidity risk (of the issuer) could be the cause of delays or suspensions in the payment of redemption proceeds of the shares of the sub-fund. Allianz Income and Growth is a sub-fund of Allianz Global Investors Fund SICAV, an open-ended investment company with variable capital incorporated under the laws of Luxembourg. The value of shares belonging to the Sub-Fund's share classes denominated in the base currency may be subject to high volatility. The volatility of other share classes could be different and potentially higher. Past performance is not a guide to future performance. If the currency in which past performance is expressed differs from the currency of the investor's country of residence, the investor may be penalised by fluctuations in exchange rates between his or her currency and the currency in which the returns are denominated at the time of any conversion.
